So I somehow hadn’t seen Kayne’s 30 minute short-film, Runaway. Seeing as I’m on summer break I figured I’d give it a go. It’s visually stunning and will absolutely suck you in. Featured: ballerinas, a posh dinner party, and ridiculous landscapes.

I may have just spent an hour listening to Dirty Projectors remixes and covers on Soundcloud. This makes it totally worth it:
It was bound to happen, I’m crazy about this app. A Beautiful Mess is a photo app that allows you to use hand-drawn lettering, doodles, borders and more to edit your pictures. The interface is charming and quite easy to use! At only 99 cents I highly recommend it.
This is one of the records I’ve been really excited about. Alex Bleeker & The Freaks may be my favorite side project from the Real Estate guys. Their brand of meandering, laid-back indie rock echoes influences as diverse as The Band and Silver Jews. And for me, it hits all the right places.
Stream their second record , How Far Away, a week early via Pitchfork Advance.
This is one of the best playlists on The Fader. If you dig this guest selected playlist from William Okpo, then you’ll love the staff selected playlists. Check out The Fader app!
